This website has been created by Racey Helps’ family to preserve the interest he created in his beautiful illustrations and quaint stories about woodland creatures which have had world wide appeal since the early fifties.

The stories he wrote are delightful and full of humour, which are also apparent in  his pictures, and have great bed-time appeal to children and adults alike.   The illustrations are exceptional, mostly in full colour, portrayed in Racey’s inimitable style.
